A beach walk from the Waianakarua River mouth to Kakanui. Terrain includes sand, limestone, volcanic rock, natural tunnels, caves and rock shelves. Timing centres on low tide at 12 noon. Wet feet likely. Fauna ranges from seagulls to surfers.
