 Emergency Working Bee – Hoods Creek Track 

Date: Sunday 30th November

Time: 8:00 AM    Meeting Point: Medway Street car park for lift sharing

or 8:30 AM at Swallows Track car park 

While servicing the automatic traps in Herbert Forest, I walked the Hoods Creek Track today and was saddened to find it in very poor condition. The track is almost at the point of closure unless urgent work is done to bring it back up to standard.

 Call to Action

Instead of the scheduled Tabletop tramp this Sunday, we are proposing an emergency working bee. This is our chance to restore Hoods Creek Track quickly and effectively.

  • Bring snipping and cutting tools (loppers, saws, secateurs, etc.)
  • Wear sturdy footwear and bring gardening gloves
  • There is a lot to do, and a strong turnout means the jobs can be shared among many hands and can restore it to a safe and enjoyable standard for everyone
